Mehron Paradise Palettes Review & Swatches

Mehron Paradise Palettes are similar to Kryolan in the way that these are also Water Activated, so keep in mind if your going to be out in the rain since your eyeshadow will smudge and start to wear off, which is the only downside to water activated products.
Again Mehron products are also typically used for theatrical, stage, clown and face painting purposes but are also used for Beauty application as well, and great for bases under mineral makeup to make you shadows pop.
The only real difference between Mehron and Kryolan palettes would be the texture. The Mehron goes on more kinda like a thin paste and drys pretty fast. They are long lasting, and blendable. I've found that some colors can leave a little stain, so best to use a primer of some sort to be on the safe side.
Another thing to add is you can mix the colors to get lighter softer shades or darker shades.

Currently there are 4 Paradise Palettes; Basic, Tropical, Pastel, & Metallic.
If you have a local theatrical shop around you can probably buy them there, or online at Mehron.com or at theatrical online shops like sillyfarm.com
If your purchasing them from Mehron they run $29.95 and the Metallic goes for $36.95.
SillyFarms.com sales them for less, costing $25.00 each and the Metallic for $30.00
Also if your wanting just specific colors not the whole palette you can purchase single paint pans alone, from either sites.

Kryolan Palette Review & Swatches

Kryolan Aquacolor Paints are a glycerin based compact makeup generally used for theatrical, clown and face painting purposes. But are also used for beauty application, which also makes as a great base for shadows.
They are all water activated so if your not use to water activated shadows you might need to work with them a bit to get the hang of it.
With these Palettes you only need the smallest amount of water, if you get your brush too wet the application will be streaky.
A good thing to do and what I do is keep a paper towel handy, and wet your brush then do a quick wipe with the brush and go from there, and just apply more water if need.
Also these paints are all long lasting, and remove easily with soap and water, and for me do not leave stains as some products do.

To purchase any of these Palettes you can find them online, there's only one store located in CA that I know of that sells Kryolan.
Best places to look for these Palettes are from theatrical online shops such as sillyfarm.com or on Ebay.
I purchased all of my Palettes online from Shrinkle, whom is a well trusted Ebayer that I'm sure most have heard of. She sells tons of Kryolan items including the Palettes to even the single eyeshadow paints and loads more of Beauty related products.
The prices of these Palettes from Shrinkle are as follows:
UV Neon Aquacolor: $28.50
Iridescent Shimmer Aquacolor: $33.00
Metallic Aquacolor: $29.50

The prices for these Palettes are definitely a good deal, for what your getting, color payoff wise and how long lasting they are.

FaceFront Pigment Review & Swatches

First a few details are the brand. Facefront Cosmetics products are Vegan, which means they do not do any animal testing with their products which is definitely a good thing and can be a deciding factor for some consumers.

The packing is really great. They come in little round screw top jars, with sifters included. With the logo printed on the top and a clear sticker on the bottom with the product name and details listed.
You get 5 grams of product filled to just about the brim. The prices range from $10.00 - $10.50.

On to the Review:
I am in love the the current shades I have, they have really great pigmentation, and great staying powder and blend really well. You can apply them either dry or wet. Obviously the colors will really pop and apply even brighter when applied wet.

Meramint: Is just what it looks & sounds like, a beautiful Minty Green color.
Pow Bam Wow: Very Bright Basic Royal Blue.
Red Hot: Fiery Orangy Red with sligh Golden Undertones.
Tinsel Tweet: My Favorite, this one is a lite, iridescent 3D Glitter, quite comparable to MACs 3D Glitter, except not as chuncky.
Aqua Marina: Medium Turquoise Green with a bit of sheen to it.
Circus Curcuit: Amazing circus Orange color with yellow undertones and sheen.
Little Gremlin: Bright Magenta Pink with soft sheen.
Fierce Contender: Pretty Sour Green Apple with low sheen.
Death by Rubies: Deep Rusty, burgundy metallic.
Seaing Green: Gorgeous Aquadic Blue/Green

I definitely recommend trying them out, they often have random sales going on so make sure to sign up for their newsletter on the website.
All in all a great product especially for the price!
